Daniil Shapiro, President
Daniil Shapiro is a rising senior at Baruch College majoring in Finance and Investments. With minor concentrations in Psychology and Political Science, he is set to graduate in May 2010. A member of Baruch Toastmasters since August 2008, he has made tremendous progress and developed a unique personality on stage, winning the Area Level Humorous Speech Contest in Fall 2008. Currently an intern at The McGraw-Hill Companies working with Digital Rights and Alliances, Daniil has also interned with UBS and worked at the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. He splits his free time between working out, exploring the city and researching investment ideas, which he is very passionate about.

Teresa Contla, VP of Education
Teresa Contla is currently a senior at Baruch College.  A major in Computer Information Systems, she is also pursuing a double minor in Law along with Economics and Finance.  First acquainted with Baruch Toastmasters in the summer of 2007,  she became deeply involved, quickly rising up the ranks by serving as the VP of Education and then Treasurer.  Besides Baruch Toastmasters, Teresa serves as the Chair of IT for the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting and is working with a small corporation as Accounts Payables. During her free time she likes to read literature, draw, and hit the occasional Broadway show.

Cheng Qiu, Secretary
A senior at Baruch College, Cheng transferred from Stony Brook University in 2007, majoring in Computer Information Systems. Originally from China, Cheng joined Toastmasters in Fall of 2008. Previously, Cheng was a Vice President of Public Relations in the Chinese Literature Club at Stony Brook. He spent his Spring 2009 Semester working in the STARR Career Center as a College Aid and is currently, interning with the MTA where he is building a database. He is also volunteering under the AmeriCorps program by helping The Indochina Sino-American Community Center (ISACC) to build their website. Cheng likes to travel and go camping; he never misses the opportunity to explore his surroundings.

Ryan Liang, Treasurer
As a junior at Baruch College, Ryan Liang majors in Economics and Mathematics. He is also a student of CUNY’s prestigious institution, Macaulay Honors College. He joined Toastmasters at the beginning of 2009. Soon after attending the first meeting, he came to a conclusion that Toastmasters would be a great resource for his professional development. He decided to be part of the executive board because he wanted to continue the legacy of Toastmasters: to help others to become more, do more, and dream more. Prior his role at Toastmasters, he was a budget specialist for Sigma Alpha Delta Honor Society at Baruch College. Starting from the fall semester, he will work for Macaulay Business Club as an event coordinator. In his free time, Ryan enjoys working out in the gym, playing pool, and spending time with his friends. This summer, Ryan is part on a dragon boat team, DCH.

Dario Quinsac, VP of Membership
Dario Quinsac graduated from Baruch College summer 2009, majored in Public Affairs and minoring in History. A member of Baruch Toastmasters since his freshman year, he has held many different hats, first as Sergeant at Arms, VP of Public Relations and then Treasurer. Besides Toastmaster, he has served as Bursar for the Undergraduate Student Government during the Spring of 2008. During his time off, he practices fencing and developing his telecommunications hobby.

Sue Sheehan, Sergeant At Arms
Sue is a senior at Baruch College and is pursuing her BBA degree in International Marketing Management with a minor in Communications. No stranger to adventure, she has a myriad of experience including Hurricane Katrina relief work in New Orleans with Habitat for Humanity, a study abroad in Shanghai, China and internship experiences with Interactive One, Resource Earth Energy and Panam Management Group where she has flexed her marketing muscles greatly. Despite a true love of marketing and international business, she is currently en route to fulfilling her dream and what she feels is her true calling in life, and that is to serve in the United States Coast Guard. Never one to back away from a difficult task, she is in the process of getting in perfect shape and is passionate about healthy living in all its forms to enjoy this beautiful life.
